Year 2012 marks the 140th anniversary of Siemens business presence in
China. Over the century, from providing power generators for Yunnan
Shilongba hydro power plant which opened up the development of renewable
energy in China, to building China’s first electric tram; from
supplying motor to Tsingtao Brewery Factory that had a century-long
history, to installing China’s first X-ray machine… A 140-year story has
recorded the century-long partnership between Siemens and China.
